How to be successful at any job

Be responsible

Control your time, divide big tasks into stages and do the work on time. Treat any task as the most important.
Define goals

Write down the goals you want to achieve this week, this month, this year. Going to them will be much easier if you think about them in detail and can control the progress of their achievement.
Be noticeable

Do what your management does not expect - ask for additional responsibilities, offer your help in various projects. Be proactive, not just wait until the end of the day.
Improve yourself

Attend courses and seminars, read professional literature, keep your finger on the pulse of your field of activity. Alas, on the once acquired knowledge it will not be possible to keep your career at the required level, and even more so to move up.
Learn from others

If you have a catastrophic lack of time for self-training, then try to improve during the work itself. Feel free to ask for advice from colleagues and superiors. It will not be a sign of incompetence, it will be a sign of the desire to develop.
Learn to deal with problems.

If you encounter a problem or make a mistake, it is not enough just to survive it. You must definitely determine for yourself what it happened and how to prevent it from happening again.
